A note about the Grandstream HT81x Series ATAs: The MAC Address you use in our provisioning GUI must be the LAN or "Local Device" MAC Address. The WAN address that comes up on an IP Scanner will not work for provisioning. The LAN or "Local Device" MAC is the one printed on the sticker on the back of the device.
Log into the Grandstream ATA by using its IP address. This can be found by either using an IP scanner to locate the device on a network or by plugging in an analog phone into port 1 of the ATA and dialing *** (press the star key three times). Once you hear the prompt “Enter the menu option“, dial 02 and the IP address will be announced.
Once logged in, go to the Advanced Settings tab. Set the upgrade via HTTP and enter the provisioning URL in the Config Server Path field. Also, set the following:
- 3CX Auto Provision: NO
- Allow DHCP Option 66 or 120 to override server: NO
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Update, then Apply your changes.
