Installing Bria
Bria Softphone for PC/Mac cannot be installed without specific download links and setup instructions provided by PrimeVOX Technical Support. If you have not received these links and instructions, please email our support team at support@primevox.net
Opening Bria
Once downloaded and installed, the Bria icon on your PC/MAC will show up as it does here:
Logging In
After the program has been launched, you'll need to log in with the credentials you received in the Setup Email:
Using the Keypad
The first screen to show up after logging in is the "keypad" which will allow you to dial phone numbers and extensions. You can also check your voicemail and set up your voicemail greetings by clicking the voicemail icon(the two circles connected with a line beneath).
Using the In-Call Screen
While on a call, you have the following buttons available to you:
Mute (microphone): This will mute your microphone so your caller can't hear you.
Hold (pause): This will put your caller on hold.
Transfer (phone with arrow): This will allow you transfer the call.
Video (camera): This will switch the phone call to a video call. This feature will not available on PrimeVOX's platform until December 2020.
Adding Contacts and Extensions
You can access the Directory (icon of a person at the bottom of Bria) to add internal extensions and outside contacts. Internal extensions will show as Available or Busy while on the phone.
Note: If you are experiencing calls being auto answered after one ring, you may need to disable the "Auto Answer" Feature.
To Disable Auto Answer:
Select the drop-down arrow to the right of the volume indicator to confirm that "Auto Answer" is not selected. If Auto Answer is enabled, click it once to disable it.
Bria Stretto Troubleshooting:
In most cases, restarting the Bria Stretto App will resolve common issues such as the application appearing offline after a brief interruption in the WiFi or Network Connection.
To Restart the Bria Stretto Application (Windows 10):
1. Select the "X" icon in the top right corner of the Application.
Note: This will minimize the Application to your taskbar.
2. Right click the Bria Stretto Application Icon in the Taskbar and select "Exit"
Note: The Bria Stretto Application may be hidden in the "Show Hidden Icons" Arrow on the bottom right of he Task Bar.
Once you have the Application completely closed, simply double click the Bria Stretto Icon on your Desktop or select the Application from the Start Menu to restart Bria Stretto.
Note: The Presence Status needs to be set to "Available" to make/receive calls.
