This is the User Management screen. It may look a little different, depending on your permissions.
User Profile
- First and Last Name are used for display purposes and identification.
- Primary Email is for logging in & recovering their account.
- Backup Email is solely used for recovering their account.
- If the user clicks "Forgot your password" on the login screen, the recovery email will be sent to both addresses.
- MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) will add an extra layer of security: Whenever the user logs in, they will receive a 6-digit code from us. They will have a few minutes to enter in the code.
- (Restricted) Manage Other Users will allow a given user account to have access to the User Management application. They can only manage the users that share the same Container Admin access.
- (Restricted) Manage E911 will allow a given user to enable/disable 911 on a DID.
- (Restricted) Manage International Dialing will allow a given user to enable/disable international access on a per-extension basis.
Sending an Invitation
- Whenever you create a user, they must be sent a setup email to set up their account.
- Clicking Send Invitation to an already-setup user will scramble their password, and require them to set it up again. You can use this function if a user calls you and has forgotten their password (and doesn't feel like going through the Forgot Password process)
