Blocked Numbers

What Is a Blocked Number?

blocked number is any phone number that you or your organization choose to prevent from reaching your phone system. When a number is blocked, calls from that number are automatically rejected: either sent to voicemail, disconnected, or ignored altogether, depending on your system’s configuration.

This feature is especially helpful for stopping:
  1. Spam or robocalls
  2. Unwanted solicitors
  3. Repeated wrong-number callers
  4. Disruptive or harassing calls
Blocking numbers helps keep your communication channels clean, professional, and secure.

Who can Block Numbers?

Basic users can manage their own personal block list directly through the UC User tab.
Admins and higher roles should use the UC Admin interface to manage blocking rules across entire accounts or organizations.
