Branding Requirements for Qvara (Purple) Portal

Introduction


Qvara allows resellers to fully white-label the platform, enabling you to customize graphics, domain settings, branding assets, email configurations, and more. This creates a seamless experience for your end users—reflecting your company’s identity at every touchpoint.



Branding Your Platform


Qvara supports the customization of the platform’s name in various contexts:

Platform Naming Conventions

Short Name
  1. Where it appears: Email subject lines, browser title bars

  2. Best practice: Keep this short and brand-recognizable (e.g., “MyCRM”)

      
                  

Legal Name
    1. Where it appears: Footer of every page and emails
    2. Best practice: This should be your full business legal name for compliance

            



Custom Domain Setup


Portal Domain
To point your custom domain to the Qvara platform:

1. Log into your domain registrar’s DNS settings.

2. Create a CNAME record with:
  1. Type: CNAME
  2. Name: (Your chosen subdomain, e.g., portal.yourdomain.com)
  3. Value: qvara.net




Email Domain Configuration


To send branded emails from your domain:

SPF Record Update
Modify your existing SPF record to include Mailgun:

include:mailgun.org 



DKIM Record
Your onboarding representative will provide you with a DKIM TXT record to add, but please reach out if you haven't received this yet.



Uploading Your Branding Assets



Full Logo (White)
    1. Usage: For headers or areas with dark backgrounds
    2. Format: PNG
    3. Size: Any (horizontally oriented preferred)




Full Logo (Color)
    1. Usage: For headers and areas with light backgrounds
    2. Format: PNG
    3. Size: Any



Brand Icon
    1. Usage: Used in compact areas like buttons or menu bars
    2. Format: PNG
    3. Size: Any



Favicon
    1. Usage: Appears in browser tabs and bookmarks
    2. Format: .ico file
    3. Size: 32x32 pixels


Idea
Tip: Use an online tool like favicon.io to convert PNG files to .ico.


WebApp Icon
    1. Usage: When the platform is saved to a user’s phone or tablet home screen
    2. Format: PNG
    3. Size: 192x192 pixels




Add Web Links


You can add up to 3 custom footer links to your platform interface. These could include:
  1. Your company website
  2. Support or documentation pages
  3. Social media or training portals



Customize the Login Marketing Page


Your login page can be personalized with:
  1. Title: Catchy headline or brand statement
  2. Picture: Transparent PNG image (e.g., mascot, dashboard preview)
  3. Informational Text: Short paragraph describing your platform benefits
  4. Link: Direct users to an external or internal page (e.g., learn more)
  5. Background Image: PNG image to be placed behind all of the aspects above





Submit and Verify


Once all customizations are prepared:

1. Submit your branding assets and DNS changes to your onboarding representative.

2. Verify domain and email configurations have propagated.

3. You will be given access to Qvara once all graphics and information have been uploaded.

Note: Once you have gained access to your Qvara account, you can make changes to your platform designs by clicking on your account icon on the lower left of the screen, and then clicking on "Portal Settings"
