What Are Call Flow Settings?

Call Flow Settings allow users customize how calls are routed based on the time, preset rules, or manual override toggles. This includes things like setting business hours, creating special schedules for holidays, and enabling quick toggle options to control where calls go—ideal for teams with fluid availability or rotating responsibilities.



Managing Call Flow Settings

AlertNote: This feature is intended for Basic Users only. If you're an Account Admin or higher, please use the UC Admin tab for broader control.

1. From the main menu on the left, navigate to "UC User" "Call Flow Settings"




2. A list of any pre-configured settings available to your phone system will appear. These tabs can include:
  1. Schedules: Control call routing based on time and date
  2. Two-Way Toggles: Switch between two destinations with a single button
  3. Multiway Toggles: Rotate among three or more destinations for more complex call paths
3. Under the desired tab, select the name or the three vertical dots next to the setting you want to edit.



4. You'll have access to several configuration tabs:
  1. Schedules: 
    1. Add or modify weekly rules by selecting on the time slot or "+ Add Weekly Rule" in the upper right



    2. Set one-time rules (like special closures) by selecting a date on the calendar or "+ Add One-Time Rule" in the upper right and filling out the form. 





    3. View any automatically applied holiday schedules.



  2. Two-Way Toggles: 
    1. Enable or disable a pre-made toggle by selecting the "Current State" (highlighted green or red depending on its state). 



  3. Multiway Toggles: 
    1. Select the label name to see a list of destinations.



    2. Select the destination name or three vertical dots to edit a destination





5. Select “Update” at the bottom of the screen to save your changes before navigating away.
