3 Ways to Access your Voicemail

Overview


You can access your voicemail from your desk phone, the Cloud Softphone mobile app, or the Qvara web portal. The method you choose will depend on your device and personal preference.



Accessing Voicemail on Your Desk Phone


The exact steps may vary depending on your phone model, but here are the most common methods:
  • Press the Voicemail Button
    • Look for a messagemail, or envelope icon on your phone. The location and label of this button will vary by manufacturer and model.
  • Use the Phone Menu
    • If there is no dedicated voicemail button, navigate through your phone’s on-screen menu and select Messages or Voicemail.
  • Dial *97
    • From your desk phone, dial *97 to connect directly to the voicemail system.



Accessing Voicemail on the Mobile App


From your Cloud Softphone app:
  • Navigate to the Keypad tab.
  • Tap the blue voicemail icon () at the bottom left, or dial *97.
  • Follow the prompts to listen to, repeat, save, or delete voicemails.



Accessing Voicemail in the Web Portal


From the Primevox web portal (http://portal.primevox.net/):

1. Log in to your account.

2. In the left navigation menu, go to UC User → Voicemails.

3. Use the dropdown menus and/or search bar (upper right) to filter and locate the desired extension.

4. Click on the extension to view its list of voicemails.

5. Click the three vertical dots to the right of a voicemail to:
  1. Listen to the voicemail.
  2. Transfer it to another extension.
  3. Delete it from the system.



Voicemail PIN


Some devices and applications require a Voicemail Authentication PIN to access your mailbox.
  • If you do not know your PIN
    • Contact your system administrator for assistance.
  • If you are an administrator and need to locate or reset a user’s PIN:
    1. Log in to your account at http://portal.primevox.net/
    2. Go to UC Admin → Extensions & Devices → Extensions.
    3. Click on the desired extension.
    4. Navigate to the Voicemail tab.
    5. The Voicemail Auth PIN will be listed under the Access and Security section.
