My Phone did not update to Daylight Savings Time

IP Phone Time Update After Daylight Savings


Some models of IP phones may not automatically update their time settings after a Daylight Savings Time (DST) change. If you notice incorrect time displays on your devices, you may need to manually trigger an update.


How to Update Phone Time


Follow these steps to force the phones to update their time:

1. Power Cycle the Phone
  1. Turn the phone off, wait a few seconds, and then power it back on.
2. Apply Changes in PBX Admin Portal
  1. If you have access to your phone system’s PBX Admin portal:
    1. Log in and click Apply Changes.
NotesNote: If you haven’t made any recent configuration changes, you can still trigger the “Apply Changes” button to appear by editing a feature, extension, etc., and clicking Submit without making any actual modifications.
