What Is a Phonebook?
A Phonebook is a directory of contact information that can be remotely added to devices associated with a phone system, allowing users to quickly access internal and external contacts directly from their handset or softphone interface.
Example: A company could create a phonebook for the “Sales Team” with each rep's name and extension. This directory can be pushed to all sales reps’ desk phones for easy lookup.
