UCP Access

This is the UCP Box selection screen. You have the ability to give users access to 1 or more UCP boxes on 1 or more containers.

 

Creating a UCP Box

  1. Go into the Phone System Administration area, and select the container in which you want to build a new UCP Box.
  2. Go to UCP Boxes > Manage and create a new box.
  3. Once the box is complete, exit out to the main App Selection screen.
  4. Click User Management to add/edit a user.
  5. Jump to one of the following sections:

Adding a new user for this UCP Box

  1. In the User Management app, click "Add User"
  2. Give the user a Name, and Primary Email address to log in.
  3. Click "Submit" to continue to the next screen.
  4. Click the Permissions tab.
  5. Click "Add UCP Access"
  6. From the list of Containers, select which container your new UCP box is located.
  7. Before hitting Submit, make sure to change the dropdown to "Select which UCP Boxes to access on the next screen"
  8. Click Submit.
  9. Select the new UCP Box you created, and click Submit.
  10. Once the permission is saved, click "Send Invitation" below to allow the user to set up their account.

Adding permission to this UCP Box to an existing user

  1. In the User Management app, find the user you want to modify.
  2. Click the Permissions tab.
  3. Click "Add UCP Access"
  4. From the list of Containers, select which container your new UCP box is located.
  5. Before hitting Submit, make sure to change the dropdown to "Select which UCP Boxes to access on the next screen"
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Select the new UCP Box you created, and click Submit.
  8. Now, when the user logs back in (or refreshes their page) they will see the new UCP Box.

 

Here is an example: The user randy@primevox.net has access to a single UCP Box called "PrimeVOX Dial Plan Testing"
