This is the UCP Box selection screen. You have the ability to give users access to 1 or more UCP boxes on 1 or more containers.
Creating a UCP Box
- Go into the Phone System Administration area, and select the container in which you want to build a new UCP Box.
- Go to UCP Boxes > Manage and create a new box.
- Once the box is complete, exit out to the main App Selection screen.
- Click User Management to add/edit a user.
- Jump to one of the following sections:
Adding a new user for this UCP Box
- In the User Management app, click "Add User"
- Give the user a Name, and Primary Email address to log in.
- Click "Submit" to continue to the next screen.
- Click the Permissions tab.
- Click "Add UCP Access"
- From the list of Containers, select which container your new UCP box is located.
- Before hitting Submit, make sure to change the dropdown to "Select which UCP Boxes to access on the next screen"
- Click Submit.
- Select the new UCP Box you created, and click Submit.
- Once the permission is saved, click "Send Invitation" below to allow the user to set up their account.
Adding permission to this UCP Box to an existing user
- In the User Management app, find the user you want to modify.
- Click the Permissions tab.
- Click "Add UCP Access"
- From the list of Containers, select which container your new UCP box is located.
- Before hitting Submit, make sure to change the dropdown to "Select which UCP Boxes to access on the next screen"
- Click Submit.
- Select the new UCP Box you created, and click Submit.
- Now, when the user logs back in (or refreshes their page) they will see the new UCP Box.
Here is an example: The user randy@primevox.net has access to a single UCP Box called "PrimeVOX Dial Plan Testing"
