Introduction
The User Management screen (shown below) allows you to view and manage users within your organization’s phone system. While the layout and available actions may vary slightly depending on your permission level, this is where you can review user profiles, assign or update permissions, and invite new users to join the platform. Each section—Profile, Permissions, and Send Invitations—is designed to give you control over how users access and interact with the system.
User Profile
Under the User Profile tab, you can edit/update the following tabs:
First and Last Name are used for display purposes and identification.
Primary Email is for logging in & recovering their account.
Backup Email is solely used for recovering their account.
MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) will add an extra layer of security: Whenever the user logs in, they will receive a 6-digit code from us. They will have a few minutes to enter in the code.
Manage Other Users (Restricted) will allow a given user account to have access to the User Management application. They can only manage the users that share the same Container Admin access.
- Manage E911 (Restricted) will allow a given user to enable/disable 911 on a DID.
Manage International Dialing (Restricted) will allow a given user to enable/disable international access on a per-extension basis.
Sending an Invitation
Whenever you create a user, they must be sent a setup email to set up their account.
Clicking Send Invitation (lower left) to an already set-up user will scramble their password and require them to set it up again.
You can use this function if a user calls you and has forgotten their password (and doesn't feel like going through the Forgot Password process)
Permissions Types
Under the Permissions tab, you can view/edit the following settings:
Gives this user access to a single Tenant on a container.
Does NOT give this user the ability to manage UCP Boxes!
Does NOT give this user the ability to manage any users! (even if "Manage Other Users" is enabled)
Does NOT give this user the ability to manage AnswerCare answering service! (from an admin perspective)

Gives this user access to manage UCP Boxes on a container.
Gives this user access to manage Users that have access to the same container (if Manage Other Users is enabled)
Gives this user access to manage AnswerCare answering service settings (from an admin perspective)
