What Is a Phonebook?

phonebook is a centralized directory of contacts, complete with names and phone numbers. These contact lists can be pushed directly to supported IP phones, making it easy for users to quickly find and dial colleagues, clients, or support lines without manually entering numbers.



Managing Phonebooks

1. From the main menu on the left, navigate to: "UC User" "Phonebooks"




2. A list of available phonebooks under that account will appear. Click on the phonebook name or the three vertical dots to the right to open the editor.



3. Once inside a phonebook, you’ll be able to:
  1. Add or Import Entries
    1. Click “+ Add Phonebook Entry” (upper right).
      1. Fill out the form with the contact’s name and phone number
    2. Alternatively, use the Import feature to upload multiple entries via a supported CSV file.



  1. View and Edit Entries
    1. You’ll see a list of current contacts.
    2. Click a contact’s name to edit their details, or click the three-dot menu for more options, including edit or delete.





    3. Be sure to save any changes by clicking "Update" at the bottom of the form.
