Email Logs

What Are Email Logs?

Email Logs provide a searchable, detailed record of all email communications sent through the Qvara platform, such as voicemails, fax notifications, login alerts, or automated system messages.

These logs are helpful for:
  1. Verifying delivery of time-sensitive messages
  2. Troubleshooting failed or bounced emails
  3. Confirming opens and interactions (for supported notifications)
  4. Auditing communication activity across your organization

Accessing and Managing Email Logs

1. From the left pop-out menu, navigate to: "Reports" "Email Logs"

2. You’ll see a list of all emails sent through the platform under your account(s).

3. Use the available filters at the top to narrow results:
  1. Date Range: View messages within a specific timeframe
  2. Destination Email: Filter by recipient address

4. Log Entry Details - each email log entry contains:
  1. Date/Time: When the email was generated and sent
  2. Destination Email Address: The recipient’s full email
  3. Subject: The subject line of the email
  4. Result: Status such as:
    1. Delivered: Successfully handed off to recipient server
    2. Accepted: Server accepted the message but final delivery unknown
    3. Opened: Recipient opened the email (if tracking is enabled)
    4. Bounced: Delivery failed
  5. Delivery Status Message: Technical response from the recipient server or error message (useful for diagnosing failed delivery)

IdeaTip: If you're troubleshooting missed notifications or emails that weren’t received, check the “Delivery Status Message” for clues such as spam filtering, invalid email addresses, or authentication issues.
